Founded in 2020, JOCO is a residential architecture and interior design firm dedicated to creating thoughtful, custom homes that respond to each client’s vision and the unique character of every site. Based in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West, our projects reflect the distinct landscapes and lifestyles of the regions we serve. Our work spans a range of styles—from timeless Craftsman to clean, modern forms—united by a commitment to quality, context, and detail.
We have extensive experience with particularly complex projects, including those located in environmentally critical areas and homes requiring advanced structural solutions. Whether designing a new home or reimagining an existing one, we prioritize the needs of our clients and the integrity of the structures we work with. Every project is a collaboration, shaped by deep listening, respect for existing conditions, and a belief that architecture should be as functional as it is beautiful.
As the founder of JOCO, Jordan Cowhig brings over a decade of experience in architecture and interior design, with a particular focus on residential projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Known for her thoughtful approach to complex sites, Jordan is especially skilled in navigating environmentally critical areas and creatively working within the constraints of existing homes and tight urban conditions.
Originally from the Midwest, Jordan’s deep appreciation for the natural environment continues to inform her design sensibility. She holds an additional degree in Construction Management, which enhances her collaborative process with builders and enables her to guide clients seamlessly from concept through construction. Her work is defined not only by design excellence, but by strong, lasting relationships—with clients, consultants, and craftspeople alike.
